Quarter Inch Creations

Quarter Inch scale.
This is the Silver Teapot Project
from the NAME Gazette.
After our club tackled this one, I was hooked on smaller scales
.

I made the hat and the hat stand.
If you can see it you can make it.

I had fun finding and crafting food.  The topiary has real blossoms.  Of course, I had to make a doll to run the place.

Quarter inch scale is fun in the same way that one inch was fun after working with larger dolls.  It is the challenge.  You find yourself seeing all the details in the parts of the smallest flower.  That's how I found the tiny blossoms for the topiary.  They were the "dust" I was going to throw away from under an arrangement of flowers.

Miniatures train the eye to see rather than just to look at something.
